Senior Mobile Developer – React Native

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer with deep expertise in React Native to join our client’s technology team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining high‑quality, scalable mobile applications across iOS, Android and Huawei platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy mobile applications using React Native and web portals with React.js (TypeScript).
• Integrate mobile apps with backend API services and create supporting services using the .NET Framework.
• Enhance and maintain existing systems, ensuring scalability and performance optimisation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot issues and implement robust solutions.
• Create technical documentation and unit/integration tests to uphold code quality.
• Manage app‑store submissions and maintain developer accounts for iOS, Android and Huawei.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional mobile app development experience in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript and modern best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL Server and relational databases.
• Proven experience publishing apps to major app stores and handling developer accounts.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git source control.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and object‑oriented principles.
