Senior Manager – Internal Audit (Fixed-term)

About the role

The successful incumbent will report to the GGDA Group Audit and Risk Committee and the Group Chief Executive Officer. The role involves planning and executing compliance and operational audits to support the achievement of GGDA’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and executing compliance and operational audits in line with the Internal Audit Charter.
• Evaluating new or changed services, processes and operations.
• Investigating suspected fraudulent activities and reporting findings to management and the Audit Committee.
• Developing and maintaining an Integrated Combined Assurance Model and annual audit plans for the Group.
• Coordinating with external auditors and the Auditor General, and supporting probity audits on an ad‑hoc basis.

Required profile

• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Audit or Auditing.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CASA) – preferred.
• At least 12 years of auditing experience, with a minimum of 5 years at senior‑manager level.
• Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations and IIA standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with senior management.
