Senior Level 3 IT Engineer

About the role

Our client, a well‑established Managed Services Provider, is seeking a Senior Level 3 IT Engineer to join their technical team. You will work across diverse client environments, lead complex technical initiatives, and deliver enterprise‑grade infrastructure and cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Tier‑3 technical support for multiple client sites.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes.
• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Administer networking components including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching and wireless infrastructure.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and identity management.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Lead technical projects like cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades and Microsoft 365 deployments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and clients to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Tier‑3 IT support or senior infrastructure engineering experience within an MSP.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
