Senior Lecturer in Psychology (Registered Counsellor)

The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting high‑quality research, and supervising student projects in a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Psychology.
• Lead and participate in research activities, publishing in reputable scientific journals.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, including Masters and PhD theses.
• Contribute to curriculum development and other departmental programmes.

Required profile

• PhD in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Professional Master’s degree in Educational, Clinical, Counselling or Research Psychology.
• Minimum three years of experience in teaching, lecturing, research or relevant industry.
• Demonstrated record of peer‑reviewed publications and successful supervision of postgraduate students.
• Experience applying for research grants as principal investigator or team member.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Registered Counsellor, with at least three years post‑registration experience.
