Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will independently lead audit assignments across multiple business functions, including operations, finance, manufacturing, and sales. This role evaluates internal controls, assesses risk management practices, and identifies opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audits across departments such as manufacturing, distribution, inventory, procurement, and sales.
• Assess and report on the effectiveness of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Draft detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Mentor and review work performed by internal and junior auditors.
• Support investigations and special projects as required by the Lead Internal Auditor.
• Assist in developing and reviewing audit programs and testing methodologies.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – South Africa (CA(SA)) is non‑negotiable.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex audit engagements.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
