Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Join a leading financial services group as a Senior Internal Auditor within the Group Support function. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Internal Audit, you will gain broad exposure across multiple divisions in a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across various divisions (excluding IT).
• Assist with risk assessments, control evaluations, and governance processes.
• Perform audit fieldwork, testing procedures, and data analysis.
• Identify key risks and controls, recommending practical improvements.
• Prepare audit findings and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of audit methodologies and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the internal audit function.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of internal audit experience.
• General audit exposure across industries; financial services experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls, and audit methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Professional qualification: CIA or CA(SA).
