Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join Sisk, a family‑owned international construction and engineering group. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals, drive change initiatives and enhance employee engagement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational objectives.
• Provide expert advice on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organisational development.
• Support and lead change‑management initiatives, ensuring sensitive and effective execution.
• Act as trusted advisor on complex employee‑relations, performance‑management and engagement issues.
• Lead investigations, grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify skill gaps and drive targeted development programmes.
• Facilitate talent reviews, workforce planning and leadership capability development.
• Deliver HR analytics and workforce insights to support decision‑making and measure initiative impact.
• Monitor key HR metrics, identify trends and recommend actions for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and act as a strategic advisor.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices and change management.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering people‑focused solutions that improve performance and engagement.
