Senior Full Stack Engineer – Micro Frontends & Event‑Driven Backend

About the role

We are looking for senior full‑stack engineers to join a 12‑month contract building a next‑generation platform based on composable micro frontends and deterministic, event‑driven back‑ends. You will work on both the UI layer and core domain services, delivering high‑performance, contract‑driven systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop independent micro‑frontend modules using React and Next.js (App Router) with Module Federation.
• Integrate frontend modules via the platform SDK for context, events, telemetry and messaging.
• Build responsive, accessible UIs that respect performance budgets and emit telemetry.
• Own and implement core domain capabilities (e.g., Party, Quotes, Pricing) using event‑driven architectures.
• Design versioned APIs, events and data ownership boundaries, avoiding direct coupling.
• Utilise API gateways, BFF patterns, Open Policy Agent, schema registries and workflow engines such as Temporal.

Required profile

• Matric and a tertiary degree.
• Proven senior‑level experience in both frontend and backend engineering.
• Passion for building scalable, decoupled systems with strict contract compliance.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, Module Federation, React Query, Zustand.
• Browser security concepts (CSP, sandboxing) and OpenTelemetry.
• .NET Core (or equivalent), PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, NATS JetStream.
• Event‑driven architecture, event sourcing, API design and versioning.
• Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
