Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

This Senior Full Stack Developer position sits within Doctors.net.uk, a subsidiary of M3 Inc., which runs the UK's largest professional network of doctors. The role involves planning and leading the development of web and mobile applications in an agile environment, taking ownership of the whole system and mentoring others.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and actively contribute to the development of web and mobile applications in an agile environment
• Take ownership of understanding the whole system and teach it to others
• Contribute, alongside other senior team members, to the strategy and architectural decisions behind the services offered to members and clients
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members
• Improve system robustness, resilience and stability

Required profile

• Full-stack JavaScript .NET stack experience, using either Node.js or .NET Core and Web API
• Commercial experience with web applications in a containerized environment, especially Docker
• Commercial experience with content management (CMS) systems
• Demonstrable experience architecting web-based solutions and introducing new technologies and tooling into existing systems
• Experience designing and developing applications using databases such as Postgres, MongoDB and MSSQL
• Front-end experience with ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS or MVC
• Experience supporting and mentoring junior developers, excellent communication skills, self-motivated and delivery focused
• Good understanding of Agile processes
