Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

Equal Experts is expanding its South African network and seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a highly experienced consultancy team. You will work on custom software solutions for blue‑chip enterprise and public‑sector clients, applying modern agile practices to deliver high‑impact digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript, Angular, React and Redux.
• Apply continuous integration, continuous deployment, test‑driven development and pair programming to ensure high‑quality code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional consulting teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in agile and lean delivery.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in JavaScript development at a senior level.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Angular, React and Redux.
• Strong confidence in TDD, pairing and agile/lean methodologies.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with consulting and stakeholder management.
