Senior Financial Services Consultant – Remote

About the role

Our client, an established consulting firm focused on the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead complex engagements. The role is remote, with travel to client sites across South Africa, Africa, and the EU as required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver consulting engagements for banking, insurance, and other financial services clients.
• Develop, enhance, and review financial and risk models, translating data into actionable assumptions.
• Prepare high‑quality technical reports, documenting methodologies, assumptions, and governance processes.
• Mentor junior consultants, structure project activities, and ensure timely delivery.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, marketing, and firm growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking, insurance, financial services consulting, development finance, or regulatory authorities.
• Proven ability to lead client projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English and a valid driver’s licence.
