Senior Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

Acumen Recruitment is looking for a senior‑level finance professional to lead financial reporting, planning, forecasting and performance management. The role reports to senior leadership and acts as a trusted business partner, providing strategic insight and accurate financial information to support executive decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, annual and statutory financial reports, including consolidation of executive and Board packs.
• Lead the divisional budgeting process, financial modelling, forecasting and the three‑year strategic financial plan.
• Conduct variance analysis, monitor industry trends and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable business insights and support investment, growth and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure integrity, consistency and reliability of financial information across the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
