About the role
Medtronic is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for its EurAsia headquarters FP&A team. The role combines finance expertise with advanced analytics and digital capability to support the EurAsia Leadership Team and Finance Leadership Team. It involves analysing financial and operational performance, supporting planning and forecasting, and producing management reports and executive-ready presentations.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse financial and operational performance and support planning and forecasting cycles
- Prepare clear management reporting and executive-ready presentations
- Work with FP&A teams and business partners to identify trends, risks and opportunities and give insights to leadership
- Translate financial results and business developments into analysis, commentary and recommendations
- Help explain performance drivers and support strategic and operational decisions
- Improve the quality and efficiency of FP&A processes through reporting and analytical tools
Required profile
- Degree in finance, business, accounting, information systems, analytics, computer science or a related field
- 3-4 years' experience in FP&A, finance analytics, BI, reporting, automation or financial systems
- Advanced degree, professional finance qualification or relevant technology certification
- Fluent written and spoken English; willing to travel about 10%
- Experience partnering across Finance, Data & Analytics and IT in a multinational matrix organisation
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, planning, forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong Power BI skills and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, Essbase or similar planning platforms
- Experience with automation, low-code or AI tools and agile delivery, testing and release management
- Awareness of how AI and predictive analytics support finance decisions
