Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join an international banking project as a Senior DevOps Engineer, working remotely from South Africa. You will design and implement a reusable “golden path” for self‑service cloud provisioning, shaping how development and platform teams consume AWS resources.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a self‑service cloud “golden path” using Terraform and automation.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure‑as‑Code components for account onboarding, workload deployment, and connectivity.
• Integrate security, networking, governance, compliance and operational controls into the platform.
• Define and improve the developer and platform team experience for consuming the golden path.
• Create documentation and establish controlled processes for building, testing, releasing, and promoting platform code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience, with at least 1 year hands‑on AWS.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Fluent English (minimum B2); French is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple projects and start immediately.
