Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of our clients’ infrastructure and delivery pipelines. The role combines hands‑on technical work with mentorship, ensuring high‑quality service and continuous improvement across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and exceed service‑level objectives for client support.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Lead development initiatives for new client requirements, system enhancements, process automation and infrastructure‑as‑code projects.
• Identify skill gaps, organise training and drive upskilling programmes.
• Assess DevOps processes regularly and implement improvements.
• Produce monthly reports on team performance, client issues and project status.
• Ensure best‑practice adherence in CI/CD, infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Design and deliver robust solutions to solve client problems.

• Scripting languages: NodeJS, Perl, Bash, Python, PHP.
• Version control and collaboration: Git, Jira.
• Networking: Cisco (CCNA), Mikrotik, Networking+.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• API development: REST, JSON, XML, YAML.
• Linux (RHCE), Windows (MCSE), Security+, VMware (certifications).
• Front‑end technologies: VueJS, HTML, CSS.
• Container orchestration and open‑source technologies.
