About the role
The Senior Professional Architect (Data Centre) will lead architectural design and data‑centre infrastructure planning for small to medium projects, ensuring BIM models and drawings meet the design brief and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage BIM models, produce accurate drawings, and coordinate design across architecture, engineering and related disciplines.
- Lead design coordination to resolve technical conflicts, optimise solutions and maintain compliance with briefs.
- Oversee design delivery, ensuring completeness, accuracy and adherence to sustainability and energy‑efficiency standards.
- Guide junior staff, provide mentorship and foster professional development.
- Manage client and stakeholder communications, present design concepts and align expectations.
Required profile
- B.Arch or BSc Architecture with 12+ years post‑graduate experience.
- Professional registration as an Architect with SACAP.
Required skills
- BIM modelling and drawing production.
- Data centre infrastructure planning.
