Senior Credit Controller

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Senior Credit Controller with strong retail experience and proven Syspro 8 expertise. You will manage high‑volume accounts, resolve complex queries and directly influence cash flow for a fast‑moving consumer electronics business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major retail accounts and drive collections.
• Perform detailed reconciliations on high‑volume, complex accounts.
• Investigate and resolve claims, deductions and short payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address queries efficiently.
• Utilise Syspro 8 daily for processing, reporting and account management.
• Prepare age analysis and cash‑flow reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric qualification; financial qualification or certificate is advantageous.
• Proven credit control experience within the retail sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle large data sets and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Syspro 8 (non‑negotiable).
• Advanced Excel – VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros.
