Senior Conveyancing Secretary / Attorney (Nedbank & FNB Bonds)

About the role

The firm is seeking a senior conveyancing secretary/attorney to handle Nedbank and FNB bond registrations and cancellations. The role is based in Pretoria East and requires immediate availability. The successful candidate will work independently on a full range of conveyancing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting conveyancing documents, bond registrations and bond cancellations for Nedbank and FNB.
• Managing general conveyancing administration and client liaison.
• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of all legal documentation.

Required profile

• Presentable professional female, fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong recent senior‑level conveyancing experience at a law firm, specifically with Nedbank and FNB bond registrations and cancellations.
• Experience in property transfers is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, drafting all relevant documentation.
• Computer literate, preferably with Lexis Nexis.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Non‑smoker with a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Stable employment record with verifiable references.
• Willingness to commit to long‑term employment; temporary contracts may be considered.
• Residence in or near Pretoria East preferred.
