Senior Business Developer

About the role

BEE123 is looking for a Senior Business Developer to join its Johannesburg team. This full‑time hybrid position blends business development, client relationship management, and strategic growth to expand BEE123’s B‑BBEE compliance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across multiple industries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
• Conduct market research to uncover growth opportunities and tailor B‑BBEE compliance and SaaS solutions.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and lead commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive client acquisition, retention and long‑term account support.
• Maintain accurate reporting and CRM data while meeting sales and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven SaaS sales and business development experience.
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in B‑BBEE, compliance, consulting or technology‑driven solutions is advantageous.
• Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Commercially driven, strategic and results‑oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced hybrid environment.
