Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

KingMakers is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the Unified Back Office (UBO) domain. You will design, build, and evolve critical platforms and services that enable operational excellence across the company’s sports and iGaming ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement micro‑services and framework services for back‑office operations.
• Own and evolve capabilities such as authentication, market configuration, automation, and customer support tooling.
• Integrate with external systems including Salesforce, chatbots, and inbound contact platforms.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver complex technical projects end‑to‑end.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Proven ability to design distributed, event‑driven systems using domain‑driven design.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end solutions and leading technical projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
