Senior Backend Developer (C# and SQL)

About the role

Paracon is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design and build the core backend platform for a critical enterprise solution. The role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and high‑performing services while collaborating closely with DevOps, QA, and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a business rules engine with versioning, configuration management, and audit trails.
• Develop backend functionality for rule administration, approval workflows, and audit logging.
• Create API integration frameworks and abstraction layers for document processing services.
• Build and maintain integrations with multiple external systems and service providers.
• Design scalable data models supporting diverse instruction types and ensure transactional consistency.
• Generate instruction payloads and routing mechanisms for downstream systems, including region‑specific logic.
• Lead backend architectural decisions and contribute to solution design discussions.
• Mentor development teams on integration patterns, software architecture, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in C# backend development.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise‑scale backend systems.
• Strong background in API integrations and transactional processing environments.
