Senior Android Engineer

About the role

Motorola Solutions, through its RapidDeploy division, is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to design and deliver high‑quality mobile solutions that support public‑safety operations. You will work in an Agile team, collaborating with experienced engineers to build robust, user‑focused applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Set up, configure, and manage the Google Play Console for app releases.
• Implement testing, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate location, mapping, authentication, and real‑time communication services.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose and Material Design guidelines.
• Proven ability to write testable, maintainable code and follow engineering best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments and participating in full SDLC processes.
