About the role
A boutique Financial Services Provider (FSP) based in Bryanston is looking for a Senior Accountant (Trusts) to join its collaborative, fast-paced team. The role suits a high-performing financial professional who excels in financial statement compilation and wants to grow in a growth-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
- Compile full Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and oversee annual financial reporting for trusts
- Apply technical accounting expertise within Investment Management, Banking and Insurance frameworks
- Drive and support day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting queries and streamline financial processes
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or Honours in Accounting, Finance or Financial Management
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (non-negotiable)
- 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting and trust accounting
- Proven experience in Investment Management, Banking or Insurance
Required skills
- High attention to detail
- Robust knowledge of relevant reporting standards (IFRS and trust frameworks)
- Strong analytical capabilities
