Senior Accountant – Cape Town

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Accountant to join a well‑established multinational company in Cape Town. The role offers exposure to international reporting standards and a dynamic accounting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including CAPEX planning and depreciation.
• Perform Work‑in‑Progress (WiP) calculations.
• Handle IFRS 16 reporting and reconciliations.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and related provisions.
• Oversee inventory movement and Cost of Sales analysis.
• Manage VAT and Income Tax compliance.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review management accounts and support month‑end processes.

Required profile

• Strong passion for accounting and a business‑focused analytical mindset.
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and lead coordination efforts.
• Proven experience managing accounting figures and financial records.
• Understanding of procurement processes and internal controls within a multinational subsidiary.
