Senior Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our Johannesburg agency. You will be the primary point of contact for key clients, guiding campaigns from concept through delivery while championing bold, innovative ideas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day client management for multiple fast‑paced accounts.
• Translate client business objectives into clear creative briefs.
• Oversee project planning, ensuring tight deadlines and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, both on‑site and remotely.
• Monitor financial aspects of projects, including cost control, purchase orders, invoicing and payment follow‑up.
• Provide strategic insight on digital and performance marketing channels.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in account management within a marketing or advertising agency.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong people skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and think commercially.

Required skills

• Understanding of digital platforms and social media environments.
• Basic knowledge of performance marketing concepts.
