Security, Privacy & Compliance Lead (12‑month Contract)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Security, Privacy & Compliance Lead to drive information security, privacy and compliance initiatives across the organisation. This 12‑month contract role will focus on POPIA compliance, strengthening security controls and supporting audit activities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead POPIA compliance and privacy programmes.
- Design, implement and maintain RBAC/ABAC access control frameworks.
- Manage audit logging, security monitoring and produce compliance documentation.
- Support internal and external security audits, risk assessments and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve overall security governance.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in information security, privacy and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of POPIA and related data‑protection regulations.
- Proven ability to design and enforce access control models.
- Experience supporting security audits and risk management processes.
