Security Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Security Administrator to join a technology‑driven organisation in Centurion. The role focuses on engineering, operating and continuously improving security controls across cloud, identity, endpoint, network and application environments.

Key responsibilities

• Remediate cloud security findings, vulnerabilities and penetration‑test results.
• Manage identity and access controls, including MFA, Conditional Access and Privileged Access Management.
• Administer and optimise endpoint security and EDR platforms for Windows and macOS.
• Maintain WAF, Zero‑Trust access, DNS security and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Lead investigations of security incidents and support incident‑response activities.
• Drive vulnerability management, security hardening and remediation programmes.
• Develop security automation using PowerShell, APIs and cloud‑native tools.
• Support audits, compliance initiatives and security‑maturity improvement programmes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in security engineering, operations or administration.
• Proactive attitude, strong communication and ability to balance security with business needs.
• Comfortable working under pressure and taking ownership of security initiatives.
