SASSETA Assessor and Facilitator

About the role

We are seeking a qualified SASSETA‑accredited Assessor and Facilitator to join our security training team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will deliver and assess a range of security‑related courses, ensuring compliance with national standards and preparing learners for real‑world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess security training programmes such as HIRA, OHS, fire safety and first aid.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure alignment with SAQA unit standards.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive assessment reports and learner feedback.
• Travel to training sites within the region as required, using a valid driver’s licence.
• Support continuous improvement of curriculum and assessment processes.

Required profile

• Registered with SASSETA as a Facilitator and Assessor (moderator status is a plus).
• Valid PSIRA Instructor registration covering Grades E–A.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating security‑related training.
• Strong communication and learner engagement abilities.
• Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s licence.
