About the role
Umlindi Group is seeking an experienced and alert CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance systems and support control room operations in Johannesburg.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV feeds and identify suspicious or unauthorised activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, dispatch response teams, and keep accurate occurrence logs.
- Retrieve, securely store, and report faulty footage or equipment as required.
Required profile
- Valid PSIRA registration, Grade C minimum (Grade B preferred).
- CCTV Controller certificate and minimum 3 years’ experience in a control room environment.
- Matric (Grade 12) with a clear criminal record and ability to pass vetting.
- Strong observation skills, good written and verbal communication, and willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
