SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to join our client’s SAP practice in Johannesburg. The role involves delivering end‑to‑end HR transformation programmes for leading South African and multinational organisations, covering the full implementation lifecycle from discovery to post‑go‑live support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design workshops, gather and validate HR business requirements, and produce solution blueprints.
• Provide trusted advisory services to HR leaders on transformation roadmaps and data strategy.
• Configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including foundation objects, generic objects, business rules, workflows, role‑based permissions and position management.
• Configure Time Off, Time Sheet and Absence Management in line with South African leave legislation.
• Lead or support data migration activities using SFTP and workforce management tools.
• Prepare and present project status reports and solution options to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a functional SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central consultant.
• Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior consultants.
