SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to join Accenture's SAP Practice in Johannesburg. You will act as the functional expert on HR transformation projects, translating client requirements into robust Employee Central solutions and delivering end‑to‑end configurations from blueprint to go‑live and HyperCare.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate HR process design workshops, fit‑gap sessions and solution blueprint meetings with business stakeholders.
• Elicit, document and validate HR business requirements, data governance needs and process designs.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with HR leaders, providing guidance on transformation roadmaps and platform capabilities.
• Prepare and present project status reports, design decisions and solution options to senior leadership and client executives.
• Configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including Foundation Objects, Generic Objects, Business Rules, Workflows, Role‑Based Permissions and Position Management.
• Set up Time Off, Time Sheet and Absence Management in line with South African leave legislation.
• Lead data migration activities using SFTP and Workforce Management tools, handling data mapping, cleansing, validation and loading.
• Collaborate with integration architects to design and support integrations with SAP ECP, SAP S/4HANA, third‑party HR systems and benefit providers using Integration Centre, CPI/BTP and APIs.
• Configure reporting and analytics within Employee Central.

Required profile

• Deep hands‑on configuration experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and data governance.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication skills, able to lead workshops and mentor junior team members.
• Willingness to work onsite at client locations across Johannesburg and travel as project demands require.
