SAP Senior PP/QM Consultant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior PP/QM Consultant to lead and support end‑to‑end SAP Production Planning and Quality Management projects. The role is fully remote within South Africa and offers the opportunity to work across PP, QM, MM and CO modules in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP and QM implementations, enhancements and support initiatives.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure and optimise SAP PP processes such as MRP, demand management, production orders, work centers, routings and BOMs.
• Configure and support SAP QM processes including inspection plans, quality notifications and vendor quality management.
• Integrate PP/QM with MM and CO, ensuring seamless material availability and production costing.
• Provide expert troubleshooting, issue resolution and user training.
• Mentor junior consultants and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience with SAP PP and QM.
• Proven experience in end‑to‑end SAP implementations and support.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently under high pressure and manage multiple priorities.
