SAP HANA SCM GTS Package Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA SCM GTS Package Consultant to join a global transformation programme in the chemical and consumer goods sector. The consultant will lead the functional design and implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (edition for SAP HANA) to enable compliant, automated international trade processes. The role includes international travel to Turkey and close collaboration with business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather and validate trade compliance requirements.
• Design, configure and optimise SAP GTS (Edition for SAP HANA) covering sanctions screening, embargo control, customs management, product classification, preference and license determination.
• Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation and support integration with SAP ERP/S/4HANA.
• Support end‑to‑end solution design, testing, deployment and hyper‑care activities.
• Collaborate with global delivery teams during international roll‑outs and provide regular project reporting.
• Mentor junior consultants as needed.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of SAP consulting experience with proven SAP GTS (Edition for SAP HANA) implementations.
• Strong understanding of international trade compliance, customs management, export controls and global trade regulations.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and Trade Promotion Management solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work independently in a structured manner.
• Demonstrated experience delivering global SAP roll‑outs and strong documentation/reporting abilities.
