Sample Machinist – Full‑time (42.5 hrs/week)

About the role

The Sample Machinist will join Prestige Clothing’s manufacturing team to create high‑quality garment samples from concept to finished piece. You will work closely with the Design Centre and production staff to ensure samples meet design specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble garments from start to finish using patterns or Sample Bags (green seal) provided by the Design Centre.
• Operate all sewing machines required to produce sample garments.
• Identify and implement production‑friendly methods for sample assembly.
• Collaborate with relevant colleagues to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain punctuality, meet tight deadlines, and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Valid Service Record Card (SRC) with the Bargaining Council.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
