About the role
Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a dynamic Salesperson 2IC to join its Rochester division in Ferndale, Randburg. The role combines front‑line retail sales with additional operational duties, including acting as second‑in‑command when the Branch Manager is unavailable.
Key responsibilities
- Engage customers, identify their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue generation.
- Maintain product merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately following company policies.
- Develop and sustain positive customer relationships to drive repeat business.
- Stand in for the Branch Manager when required, handling delegated operational tasks.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- 7–12 months of retail sales experience.
- Strong product knowledge across relevant categories.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and good judgment to act as second‑in‑command.
