Sales & Tender Administrator – Internal (Public Bonds & Projects)

About the role

The Sales & Tender Administrator will support the internal tender and quotation process for public bonds and projects. Based in Mpumalanga, the role bridges sales, procurement and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and monitor new tenders, RFQs and procurement opportunities.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end tender and quotation submission process.
• Compile, format and proofread tender and quotation documentation.
• Maintain company compliance documentation, including tax, CIPC and B‑BBEE certificates.
• Liaise with management, sales, procurement, technical teams and subcontractors to gather required information.
• Assist with pricing schedules, Bills of Quantities, quotations and submission schedules.
• Maintain a comprehensive tender register and filing system for both electronic and physical records.
• Update databases, CRM systems and tender portals, and prepare regular tender reports for management.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (required).
• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Office Management or related field (advantage).
• 1–3 years’ experience in tender administration, sales administration, procurement or a related role.
• Experience in construction, engineering, mining or power‑station environments (advantage).
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of tender, RFQ and quotation processes (advantage).
