Sales Representative / Technical Consultant – Potchefstroom/Krugersdorp

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of agricultural hygiene, veterinary and animal health solutions across South Africa, is seeking a Sales Representative/Technical Consultant to serve poultry and pig customers in the Northwest and Free State regions. The role blends sales, technical consulting and hands‑on field work, offering a long‑term career path in the livestock sector.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage key agricultural accounts while generating new business.
• Promote products and solutions using technical expertise.
• Provide on‑site technical support, training and audits covering biosecurity, hygiene, disinfection, rodent control, vaccine application, fly control and water treatment.
• Implement field trials, monitor product performance and ensure traceability.
• Act as a liaison between customers, veterinarians, industry bodies and internal teams.

Required profile

• Experience in agricultural chemicals, biosecurity or animal health products (advantage).
• BSc in Animal Science, Agriculture or Nutrition (advantage).
• Practical exposure to poultry or pig farms (advantage).
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
