Sales Representative

About the role

iFloors is seeking a self‑motivated Sales Representative for its Johannesburg store (Westrand – Hillfox). The role offers on‑the‑job training and a stable career in a well‑established flooring retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer quotations, sales orders, invoices and credit notes accurately.
• Monitor supplier stock levels and propose alternative options when needed.
• Upsell and cross‑sell flooring accessories and consumables.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide timely responses to customers regarding quotations, orders and deliveries.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and achieve individual sales targets.
• Organise installations and deliveries according to customer requirements and ensure correct charging.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and stay informed about flooring industry trends.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with experience in a retail environment; flooring or hardware sales is an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy with working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to use power tools such as a drill.
• Physical ability to carry stock, receive deliveries and load customer orders.
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
