Salesperson – Service Business (Johannesburg)

About the role

Join KONE’s Johannesburg office as a Salesperson – Service Business. You will drive sales of annual recurring service contracts and modernization projects, converting leads into customers and helping the company achieve its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow customer relationships in the assigned area.
• Strengthen KONE’s market position and share leads with the sales team.
• Manage requests for quotes (RFQs) and ensure contracts match negotiation results.
• Meet sales goals for leads, orders, and contracts while adhering to pricing targets.
• Track all sales activities, maintain accurate CRM reports, and collect market and competitor information.
• Assist finance with payment collection and follow through on personal sales plans.

Required profile

• A diploma or higher qualification (advantageous).
• 3‑5 years of technical experience in the elevator/escalator industry.
• 3‑5 years of experience in construction, building materials, or related customer industries.
• Familiarity with solution‑selling methodology and complex technology solutions.
• Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, diligent, and organized self‑starter.
• Proven passion for sales with a strong customer focus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
