Sales Representative – Gauteng, Pretoria & Pinetown

About the role

Crane Aid is seeking dynamic Sales Representatives to drive business growth across Gauteng, Pretoria and Pinetown. You will promote a full suite of crane maintenance, inspection and refurbishment services to industrial clients in the mining, manufacturing and logistics sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the overhead crane and related industrial markets.
• Maintain and expand existing customer accounts, increasing market share in the assigned territory.
• Conduct telesales, cold‑calling, site visits and client appointments.
• Communicate customer requirements to internal technical teams and ensure timely proposal delivery.
• Achieve monthly targets for sales, appointments and proposals.
• Promote Crane Aid’s services including inspections, preventative maintenance, breakdown support, refurbishments, load testing, OEM spare parts and new crane solutions.
• Maintain accurate daily diaries, sales pipeline updates and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; sales or marketing qualification is advantageous.
• 2–5 years proven sales experience in overhead crane, lifting equipment, engineering or related technical environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage existing relationships.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and DMR 18 regulations is a plus.
