Sales Representative – FMCG Packaging (Durban)

About the role

Join a leading South African packaging company that supplies disposable and reusable solutions to the retail, hospitality and FMCG sectors. As a Sales Representative you will cover an established route, build relationships with existing clients and expand the customer base across the Durban region.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores on a regular schedule, presenting the product range and securing orders.
• Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets set by the company.
• Learn product details quickly, using a one‑week warehouse induction.
• Report visit times, store interactions and sales activity through the company’s tracking system.
• Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager during the onboarding period and thereafter operate independently.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of proven sales experience with a stable record.
• Willingness to travel, follow a set route and stay overnight when required.
• Self‑motivated, confident and customer‑focused.
• Male or female candidates are welcome; the role suits energetic younger professionals or experienced older salespeople.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence (Matric level education required).
