Sales Representative – Automotive Industry

About the role

The Sales Representative will drive sales of automotive products, meeting and exceeding targets while building strong customer relationships. You will maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, follow up leads efficiently and present a professional image.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the company’s automotive products and increase auction sales.
• Generate and send weekly and monthly reports to dealers and groups.
• Follow up on debtors to keep outstanding balances below 60 days.
• Contact existing and potential customers via telephone and dealer visits.
• Negotiate sales, handle objections and close deals.
• Maintain effective oral and written communication with customers and colleagues.
• Protect the company against risk by ensuring compliance with policies.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate (essential).
• Proven experience in selling and building customer relationships.
• Ability to quickly acquire product knowledge.
• Computer literacy and strong persuasive communication style.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work without close supervision.
• Attention to detail, time‑management and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.

What we offer

• Basic salary of R25 000 per month.
• Cell allowance of R1 000.
• Travel allowance of R5 000.
