Sales Manager – UPS Systems (Power Solutions)

About the role

We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead a small team in Cape Town and sell UPS and backup energy solutions to critical‑infrastructure clients. The role combines hands‑on selling with people‑management, reporting to the Head of Sales in Johannesburg.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, managing a Cape Town sales team while maintaining your own pipeline.
• Identify and secure new business across hospitals, mines and corporate environments where power continuity is essential.
• Conduct C‑suite meetings, perform needs analysis and deliver solution presentations.
• Close deals, onboard clients and retain ownership of accounts for ongoing growth.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record in external B2B sales with a focus on new‑business development.
• Experience managing a sales team and taking ownership of branch performance.
• Comfortable engaging senior executives (C‑level) and negotiating high‑value contracts.
• Self‑managed, proactive and target‑driven with strong commercial acumen.
