Retail Sales Trainer – Solar Energy

About the role

Futurelink Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Trainer to join a growing team in Midrand. The role focuses on upskilling retail sales staff in solar energy products, enhancing product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer‑service standards across multiple outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service for in‑house and external retail teams.
• Analyse sales performance data to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance‑improvement programmes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date expertise on the company’s solar products, promotions and campaigns.
• Ensure consistent customer‑service standards across all retail locations.
• Assess and monitor retail outlets to verify training effectiveness.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in retail sales management, sales training or a similar role.
• Proven ability to deliver training or coaching to sales teams.
• Experience working with sales targets and performance metrics.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (advantageous).
• Willingness to travel throughout South Africa.
