Sales Manager / Head of Sales – Johannesburg – Up to R70k

About the role

Join a growing team in a senior commercial leadership position overseeing the full revenue line for a specialised business with a dedicated Perfume Projects Division. The role reports to the Director and works closely with the Operations Manager to shape strategy and drive business expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own new business, renewals, retention, upselling and key‑account growth across the organisation.
• Build, lead and coach a sales team, holding them accountable to individual and quarterly revenue targets.
• Personally lead and close the largest, most strategic and complex commercial deals.
• Set and enforce sales process standards, ensure CRM data quality and produce pipeline and forecast reports.
• Manage cross‑functional communication between Sales, Operations, Accounts and Marketing.
• Drive strategic growth of the Perfume Projects Division by sourcing major projects and entering new verticals.

Required profile

• Proven track record at senior sales leadership or management level.
• Experience building and managing high‑performing sales teams against targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full revenue function including new business and renewals.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills for complex, large‑scale deals.
• Commercial maturity to contribute to overall business strategy.
• Calm under pressure with a collaborative leadership style.
