Sales Executive – Head Office

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive new business opportunities in the courier, road freight and freight forwarding sectors from our head office in Kempton Park. The role involves proactive prospecting, relationship building and delivering sales targets while supporting existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively seek new sales opportunities in courier, road freight and freight forwarding through cold‑calling, networking and referrals.
• Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and service requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, and collaborate on strategic sales plans.
• Sell the company’s service offering and refer growth opportunities to other sales resources.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and follow‑up actions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned existing customers.
• Analyse customer spend versus credit limit requests.

• Young, dynamic individual with a professional appearance and ability to work under pressure.
• Social extrovert with excellent verbal and written communication, confident interacting with senior managers and customers.
• Dedicated, organized and strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines.
• Calm, friendly personality when dealing with staff and customers.
• Ability to achieve new sales and marketing targets set by management.
• Capability to meet profitability targets for existing clients.
• Matric level education, computer literate and geographically knowledgeable of South Africa.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle for daily travel.
