Sales Executive - Fuel & Petroleum Industry

About the role

Sasso Consulting is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive new‑business growth in the fuel, petroleum and energy sector. You will generate fresh opportunities, build a robust customer portfolio and sell fuel solutions to commercial clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new commercial fuel customers through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and convert them into active accounts.
• Promote and sell fuel and related solutions, providing pricing and product information.
• Negotiate commercial terms within authorised limits and monitor market conditions.
• Develop long‑term relationships with existing clients, identifying upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects and sales activity; produce regular pipeline and forecast reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fuel, petroleum, energy, transport, logistics, fleet, mining, construction or industrial sales.
• Strong prospecting, cold‑calling and networking skills.
• Ability to negotiate commercial agreements and close deals.
• Commercially driven with a results‑oriented mindset.
