Sales Executive - Fixed Video Solutions (Sub-Saharan Africa)

About the role

Motorola Solutions is looking for an End User Video Account Executive to expand its fixed video sales through direct business, focusing on government fixed video solutions across Europe and AMEA. The role covers Sub-Saharan Africa, with up to 30% travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell MSI's products and services to government accounts through direct contact or partners within the assigned territory.
• Create demand for MSI Video Security solutions in the government space.
• Manage sales opportunities, close orders, and prepare proposals and quotes; discounts above published prices need approval.
• Produce weekly and quarterly forecasts and reports on direct and partner pipelines.
• Conduct ongoing market research and run sales calls, tracking activity in Salesforce.com.
• Provide first-level technical guidance to end users, integrators and partners, and relay customer requirements to engineering and operations.
• Manage distributors, integrators and partners, and supervise the Government Video business across the portfolio.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of government sales experience preferred; video security sales experience is a plus.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets.
• Experience building and managing a sales pipeline and forecasting accurately.
• Good written and spoken English; ability to work with multiple business units.
• Up to 30% travel across Sub-Saharan Africa and occasional travel to other countries; relocation is not provided.
