Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role
Yoco is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to own the prospecting and qualification stages of the sales cycle. You will generate qualified appointments for both inside (telesales) and outside (field sales) teams, helping to expand Yoco’s footprint in the payments market.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound telemarketing and email outreach to targeted geographic areas and industry verticals.
- Research and expand prospect lists using LinkedIn, Meta, Google Maps and other in‑house tools.
- Organise and host group demos, webinars and live seminars to warm leads.
- Participate in trade shows and events to build a relevant pipeline.
- Perform initial needs assessments, qualify prospects and schedule appointments for sales teams.
- Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM and ensure data hygiene.
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing, products and emerging technologies.
Required profile
- Proven experience in outbound prospecting or telemarketing.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to identify decision‑makers and business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for cold calls, emails and virtual presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing and operations teams.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining clean CRM data.
