Sales Consultant – Retail

About the role

The Sales Consultant will deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment, helping to build loyalty and drive in‑store sales. You will act as a brand ambassador for the Country Road Group, advising customers on seasonal trends, product fit and promotional offers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships.
• Understand the store’s customer profile to increase sales opportunities.
• Advise customers on current season trends, product features, fit and care.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure new stock is displayed promptly.
• Manage stock levels, process requisitions, and handle transfers and discrepancies.
• Support the team by sharing product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Maintain tidy team areas, stock rooms and adhere to company presentation guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12 or National Certificate.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to listen and advise.
• Good understanding of fashion trends, product fit and wardrobe building.
• Ability to manage stock, follow visual merchandising guidelines and maintain store standards.
